These Bedford homeowners hated the ugly tiled floor in their sunroom. It was a hideous color that did not coincide with their decor. The original tile had a heavy texture that the wife said would literally tear apart a mop when cleaning. The tiles were unlevel and uneven to the point of stubbing a toe.
We removed the exsisting tile and installed Schluter Ditra crack isolation membrane over the subfloor. The homeowners chose a 15x30 stone-look ceramic tile that we had in our shop. They immediately liked the larger size in comparison to the prevailent 12x24 nominal porcelain tile size.
When installing the floor tile we used leveling clips that lock down the tile flat and even with each other maintaining a uniform grout line also.
